Development record
Originated, consented, sold.
Three Danish utility-scale solar developments taken to the point where they could be built, and sold to named international buyers. This is a record of development work, not a portfolio of operating assets.
What this is
The buyer is the proof.
A developer is paid for taking a site from nothing to the moment it can be built. The proof of that skill is who bought the result.
The three transactions below were originated and sold by the group. In each case the project was taken through land, consent and grid agreement by the group's companies and founders, and the completed development was then sold on. The parks themselves have been in the buyers' ownership from the date of sale.
61 MWp · western Zealand · sold 2015
Sold to Wircon
Developed from 2013. The project rights were sold in 2015 to Wircon, the vehicle of Dietmar Hopp, co-founder of SAP. The park was built out by WIRSOL with Omnisol as contractor and financing from LBBW, grid-connected in December 2015 — at that time the largest solar park in Scandinavia — and operated by SMA.
The park has been Wircon's asset since 2015. What belongs to the group is the development and the sale.
72 MWp · Jutland · sold 2023
Sold to BayWa r.e.
Developed and sold in 2023 to BayWa r.e. of Munich, one of Europe's larger renewable-energy developers and asset owners.
approx. 97 MWp · Djursland · sold 2024
Sold to Greenvolt Power
Developed and sold in 2024 to Greenvolt Power, whose group is owned by KKR. The site sits near Tirstrup in Syddjurs, on Djursland.
It is being built out by the buyer as a hybrid park: roughly 97 MWp of solar across some 158,000 modules, together with a 60 MW / 120 MWh battery. Caverion is delivering the high-voltage substation and REEL is contracted for balancing and market optimisation.
The sale completed in 2024. The construction programme is the buyer's, and the park is not described here as complete.

| Høegholm | ~97 | 2024 | Greenvolt Power (KKR) |

Høegholm is stated as approximately 97 MWp. Capacities are as developed and sold; consideration is not published.
The buyers
Who took these projects on.
A development record is only as good as the parties willing to buy into it, so the buyers are worth naming.

Three exits, three buyers of that standing, across nine years. That is the argument this record makes, and it does not need a larger number to make it.
