Solar Energy Holding AG
Utility-scale solar, developed in Denmark.
We take land from first option through consent and grid agreement to a project that is ready to build. The Danish pipeline held today stands at 1,183 MWp.

What we do
Development is the product.
A developer is paid for taking a site from nothing to the moment it can be built. The proof of that skill is who buys the result.
Solar Energy Holding AG originates and develops utility-scale solar in Denmark. We secure the land, carry the project through municipal planning and environmental assessment, negotiate the grid connection, and bring it to a ready-to-build state. Some projects we sell at that point. Others we hold and build out ourselves.
Origination and land
Site identification, landowner agreements and option structures across Zealand and Jutland, in a market we have worked since 2013.
Consent and assessment
Municipal district planning, environmental impact assessment and the local hearing process, run to the point of a final planning decision.
Grid and ready-to-build
Connection agreements with the grid operator, system design and EPC preparation, to the stage where construction can start.
Where the portfolio stands
A development portfolio, stated as one.
Solar Energy Holding AG holds its Danish project companies directly. Two assets — Lerchenborg II and Herlufmagle, 130 MWp together — are ready to build. A further 1,053 MWp sits in development behind them.
None of the portfolio is in operation. No final operating permit has been issued on any project company. That is the normal position for a developer at this stage, and we state it plainly rather than let a pipeline figure be read as an operating fleet.
Development record
Who has bought our work.
Three Danish utility-scale projects have been taken from origination to sale by the group, across nine years, to buyers of international standing.
- WirconLerchenborg · 2015
- BayWa r.e.St. Sjørup · 2023
- Greenvolt PowerHøegholm · 2024
Three exits, three buyers of that standing. That is the argument, and it does not need a larger number to make it.
