Portfolio
What is held today.
A wholly-held Danish pipeline of 1,183 MWp, of which 130 MWp is ready to build. Solar Energy Holding AG holds each of these project companies directly at 100%.
Phase 1
Ready to build — 130 MWp
Two projects are through planning and grid agreement and can go to construction. Both sit on Zealand.
| Project | Location | MWp | MVA |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lerchenborg II | Kalundborg, western Zealand | 73 | 58 |
| Herlufmagle | Zealand | 57 | 43 |
| Total | 130 | 101 | |
73 MWp · 58 MVA · Kalundborg
73 MWp on a single cadastral parcel at Lerchenborg Hgd., Aarby, in Kalundborg municipality — the same estate whose land carries the 61 MWp park developed and sold by the group in 2015. Ready to build.
Lerchenborg II is a separate project from the 2015 park, which has been in third-party ownership since its sale. The two are never shown under one heading.
57 MWp · 43 MVA · Zealand
57 MWp taken through municipal planning, environmental impact assessment, grid coordination and EPC preparation to a ready-to-build state.
The wider pipeline
1,053 MWp in development
Behind Phase 1 sits a further 1,053 MWp / 1,003 MVA of wholly-held projects at earlier stages — land secured, in planning, or in grid queue.
| Stage | MWp | MVA |
|---|---|---|
| Ready to build | 130 | 101 |
| In development | 1,053 | 1,003 |
| Total wholly held | 1,183 | 1,104 |
A further 479 MWp / 378 MVA sits in part-held companies. It is shown separately here and is never added into the wholly-held figures above.
Grid
Connection is the scarce thing.
In Denmark the binding constraint on utility-scale solar is not land or consent but grid capacity, and a secured connection agreement is what separates a project from an aspiration.
879 MWp of solar sits behind a secured grid-connection agreement, against 674 MVA of grid capacity. A further 783 MWp is not yet secured. These grid figures cover the portfolio as a whole, including the part-held projects noted above.
How to read these numbers
Solar capacity is stated in MWp, the peak direct-current rating of the modules. Grid capacity is stated in MVA, the rating of the connection. The two are different quantities and we do not present one as the other.
The company's own classification is the source of the secured/unsecured split. It is not an independent assessment.
Stage
Nothing here is operating yet.
No final operating permit has been issued on any project company in the portfolio. The two Phase 1 assets are ready to build; the rest are earlier. We say so directly, because a pipeline figure of this size is easy to misread as an operating fleet, and it is not one.
Storage is planned alongside the Phase 1 pair at four-hour duration. No storage has been built out or operated to date.
What the company has done before, it has done as a developer: originate, consent, secure the grid, and sell. That record is set out separately.
